A Traditional family
butcher established in 1892 in the Lincolnshire market
town of Market Rasen. Meat is supplied by local
Lincolnshire farmers with full Trace ability, also Scotch
Quality Beef is available.
V.T. Lancaster and Son are Members of the Lincolnshire
Quality Beef & Lamb Scheme, and the Scotch Quality
Beef & Lamb Scheme.
V.T. Lancaster and Son was originally formed by Mr. V.T.
Lancaster, and the family business has passed down from
father to son until the present day where Mr. Richard
Lancaster is the current owner. V.T. Lancaster and Son
employs 3 Full-Time workers and 2 Part-Time workers (See
Staff in the Main Menu).
All meat is prepared on the premises to traditional
recipes such as Lincolnshire pork sausages, Pork pies,
Haslets, a selection of meat pies, sausage rolls, cooked
meats are also available, Dry cured hams and streaky
bacon .Barbecue packs are made up during the summer
months with a variety of burgers, marinades and Grill
sticks (See Special Offers in the Main Menu).
During
the Christmas Period full Christmas packs will be
available with products like Turkeys, Sausages, Bacon,
Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing Mix. Lincolnshire game is also available during the season.
People in the catering trade are welcome to enquire
about bulk buying produce, and ordering produce.
